Job Description

Linden Construction is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team! The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the daily management, coordination, and oversight of construction projects, including successful project planning, execution, and closure. The PM plans and directs all construction activities and administrative processes in order to deliver high quality projects on time and within budget. The PM successfully achieves objectives related to estimating, bidding, contract administration, schedule generation, and facilitation. Additionally, the project manager will serve as Linden Construction’s direct point of contact with clients.


  • Interpret construction documents to create detailed scope(s) of work to contract trades on projects
  • Work with the Superintendent to create schedules to complete the project(s) in adherence to the contract with the owner
  • Continually manage and analyze project budget to accurately forecast cost & profitability
  • Review and approve subcontractor billings to mitigate financial risk in conjunction with owner billings to manage cash flow
  • Review and manage project submittals to ensure product quality, adherence to specifications, and feasibility
  • Along with Superintendent, co-lead meetings, and communicate with team so that project delivered accurately and on-time
  • Continually build and manage relationships with clients/owners and subcontractors to achieve and maintain a positive project experience

Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or Business preferred, but not required
  • Minimum 3-5 years construction project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with co-workers and clients
  • Strong understanding of the construction process
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, MS Project, Procore, & Spectrum
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans & schedules
  • Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks and prioritize
